EMAIL TO SIGN UP: babybanterspeech@gmail.com DETAILS: Baby Banter Speech presents a parent and me class lead by two pediatric speech-language pathologists. This class focuses on strengthening your child’s language and social skills while having fun and engaging in various stories, songs and activities. There will be a heavy emphasis on expressive language, receptive language, social skills and articulation (speech sounds). We do all of this while having fun, learning new skills and having a great time. Come Banter with us! LOCATION: A park in Palacio Del Mar, located in Carmel Valley. Exact details will be sent in the introduction email. DATES: 11/6/2022, 11/13/2022, 11/20/2022, 11/27/2022 (a total of four weeks) TIME: 10:30 am - 11:15 am CANCELATION POLICY: If your child is unable to attend a session, we offer the ability to make it up in a future Toddler Banter Course, within a year from the absence date. No refunds will be available at this time. WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR? This class was designed for ALL children, ages 18 months - 3 years old. After the last two years of mask wearing, school closures and lack of social gatherings, many of our little ones have had limited social exposure that is needed to reach their developmental milestones. We designed this class to bring back the language enrichment all our little ones need in order to meet those milestones. EDUCATION: Each class is followed up with an email from the pediatric Speech Language Pathologists. The email will contain what language skills were targeted during the groups, and how the parents can continue supporting these skills within their daily routines at home. THE HOSTS: Gayl and Sarah are both pediatric Speech Language Pathologists. Gayl and Sarah have collectively been working with the pediatric population for over 20 years. They both have a passion for early intervention and understand that it supports your child's ability to communicate. It also supports your child's ability to: express and understand feelings, think and learn. So much brain development occurs in the first 3 years of a child's life, so why not actively help it grow!
